Jeanette MacDonald was an extrovert by nature. She liked people and she socialized in Hollywood with her husband. Her Hollywood friends included Norma Shearer, Irene Dunne, Fredric March, Basil Rathbone, Harold Lloyd, Lily Pons, and Dolores Del Rio. MacDonald also had her own radio show, Vicks Open House, from 1937-38 on CBS Radio.
